Susan J. Kline, 85, of 200 Pleasant Street, Bradford, PA formerly of Wood St., Emporium, died at Bradford Nursing Pavilion on Wednesday, (February 24, 2010) evening.


She was born Jun 16, 1924 in Emporium a daughter of the late William and Virginia Woodring Gibbs. She was married the late Bernard D. Kline, Sr.
Mrs. Kline retired from Motor Coil in Emporium where she worked for over 20 years.

Funeral Service will be held at the Barnett Funeral Home, 207 E. Fourth Street, Emporium on Saturday (February 27, 2010) at 1:00 PM with Rev. James Eastman, Pastor, Abundant Life Tabernacle, officiating.
Visitation will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Saturday from 11:00 AM - 12:45 PM.


Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA    If desired, Memorials may be made to Bradford Nursing Pavilion, 200 Pleasant St. Bradford, PA 16701

Donald F. Kerr, 85, of 522 Poplar St., Emporium, died at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys on Saturday night. (February 20, 2010)
He was born Nov 20, 1924 in Punxsutawney, PA a son of the late Fred and Anna Marie Palholsky Kerr.

On July 5, 1947 in Emporium he married Eleanor Bailey Kerr, who Survives.


Mr. Kerr served with the US Army, as a Sergeant, during WW II mainly in the South Pacific. He was a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from Sylvania where he worked for over 43 years. He was a life member of the Miller-Raffaele Post 6221 VFW, a longtime member of the American Legion Olkosky-Jessop Post 194, Emporium, Charter member of the Cameron County Memorial Detail where he seldom missed a service, volunteer for Meals-on-Wheels, AARP and Sylvania Retirees.

A Military Service will be accorded by the Cameron County Memorial Detail. Visitation with Tribute Video will be at the Barnett Funeral Home on Thursday from 2-5 PM.
Burial will be in the Newton Cemetery, Emporium, PA

Gordon H. Spiegel, 89, of Emporium, PA, formerly of Galeton, PA, died on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at Sena-Kean Manor in Smethport, PA.

Born August 6, 1920, in Galeton, he was a son of the late Arthur and Alta (Hughes) Spiegel. 

He was a Veteran, having served with the United States Army Air Force in World War II. 

On September 13, 1948, in Westfield, PA, he married the former Joyce Sharp who predeceased him in 1988. 

Gordon worked at Sunnydale Farms in Galeton and NEDCO in Middlebury, PA. He was a member of the Galeton VFW Post #6611 and the Galeton Moose. 

Surviving is a son, Jerry Spiegel, Emporium, PA; a daughter, Beth Lampman, Genesee, PA; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; a sister, Joan Simonetti, Knoxville, PA; nephews and a niece. A private family service will be held at the Hess Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Collins Chapel, Galeton. Burial will be in West Hill Cemetery, Galeton.

Charles E. Clark, 53, of 36 W. 4th St., Emporium, PA died at Elk Regional Health Center, St. Marys on Sunday (February 7, 2010) morning following a battle with cancer. He was born Jan 12, 1957 in St. Marys, PA a son of the late Charles A. and Jane Holcomb Clark.
 
Mr. Clark attended Cameron County High School and as a young boy he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America for many years. He had served with the US Army. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and worked as a commercial fisherman, welder and as a logger.
